Everyone has that supernatural side of them that just lives off of the morbid curiosity that occult topics provide them. No matter where you go in the United States, you are bound to find some little town or village that has a ghost story or two. So if you live near or in these areas of Florida, you might want to check out these chilling haunted towns.

The Cuban Club - Tampa, Florida

This one is pretty iconic. Built back in the early Twentieth Century, this building was the place to be in Tampa. But as great as the building is, there have been more than one death connected to the edifice. In one case, an actor committed suicide, in another, a young boy drowned in the pool, and finally, there was a case in which one board member murdered another. Some say that when you visit The Cuban Club, you can see a woman in a white dress and hear the young boy’s soul still crying.

May-Stringer House - Brooksville, Florida

Now a museum, this house picks up a lot of traffic around the time of Halloween. According to locals, entering the house can result in feeling random cold spots, whispers, and the occasional sound of children's laughter. Many believe it to be the ghost of a little girl screaming out for the mother she never knew, and the sight has some people so spooked they will not bring their own children near it.

Kenilworth Lodge - Sebring, Florida

There is something about hotels that always make them the most haunted places in the United States. Residents who have stayed at the lodged claim that an eerie feeling stirs throughout the entire area. Doors and drawers have been reported more than once to have been opening and closing on their own, and one guest heard a voice speaking just outside his door one night. Many believe it to be the ghost of a man who died at the hotel in the 1950s, but who knows, there may be more than one ghost at this lodge.
