How To Have A Paranormal Experience

Have you ever watched a paranormal reality show and wondered if what you are seeing is real or just for ratings? Well, we can't say for sure what you see in these shows is real or fake, but reports of paranormal encounters are becoming more common, and many of them are being validated. Ghost hunting is no new concept and it's been done long before the world tuned in every week to see entire teams of paranormal investigators. Along with the rise of these shows, came the rise in the interest of the paranormal, and many people started asking the big question “Is there an afterlife?”

Over the years many people have sought out ghost tour after tour, public investigations, and any other way that may grant them the unique experience of seeing a ghost or feeling a cold hand on their shoulder as they walk through the dark hallways of a haunted house.

And believe it or not, many of these people walk away with a ghost story of their own. So, you can have a paranormal experience.

You are setting out to have a paranormal experience, not to prove or disprove a haunting as seen on TV this means you won't be needing a ton of paranormal investigation equipment that requires an entire team to set up and operate.

Here is the only equipment you will need:

1) Flashlight

2) Camera

3) Voice recorder

4) Cell phone

Many smartphones/tablets have many of these things built into them. When you watch paranormal investigators on T.V, you see them using a wide range of tools like EMF detectors and thermal monitors. Some of these toys can get very expensive and are not needed to have a paranormal experience.

Remember? We are setting out to encounter the spiritual world, and not to gather evidence of the afterlife. You should bring the listed tools with you to document your experiences as they happen, and any evidence you do happen to capture can later be used to validate your experiences.

Before you set off into the unknown, consider finding yourself a partner who may also share the same interest in the paranormal as you. This is the number one rule for any entry-level paranormal investigator or amateur ghost hunter.

Two or More Rule:

There are three main reasons why it is impossible to explore the paranormal alone.

1) Safety – If you get hurt, you may need help.

2) Company – Ever been alone in a haunted house?

3) Validation – You may need a 2nd eye witness to any paranormal encounters.

Now, We have some equipment and a ghost hunting partner. Where should we go?

Again we are looking for the most likely way to have a run-in with a ghost, right? So, we aren’t going to want to just spend the night at anybody's house that claims they have ghosts.

No, what we want is a place that is well known to be haunted, but also accessible to the public. Old motels that have historical significance are hot spots for paranormal activity.
